Cool things I experienced along the way:

Trailhead is just a parking lot

View of Tampa Bay

View to the west

Entrance to the bridge

Fishing options on the right and left sides below the trailbridge.

Ahhh... what a view!

Yep... gotta use some lower gears!
The trail had a slight uphill grade the entire way -- much more for the bridge.
That made the return much easier!

Sea gulls were soaring in the afternoon breeze

Wheeee! Downhill here and my fastest speed yet!

No shade for this ride!

Welcome to Pinellas County!

Sea Gulls and Pelicans were soaring along right next to me!

Made it to the other side!

I made a small donation here!

The newspaper article tells the story of the toll booth repositioned here last year -- almost to the date!
This bridge had originally been a toll bridge, but stopped collecting in the '40s. The toll booth was moved to St. Petersburg on a college campus, but was moved back here after the Friendship Trailbridge was completed.

Who let the dogs out?

Loved this cloud!

This trail actually had a lot of traffic. I tend not to take pictures of people.

The water was splashing about, hitting the pilings.

Here's a jogger heading back.

Almost back now!

Short ride!
It was a very beautiful ride!
Time to head to my friend Barb's house for a relaxing evening!
Barb has been a loyal friend since we met in 1976!
