Trailhead at Layer Elementary -- not to be confused with Layner! <giggle>

The trail splits to a secondary trailhead. I'll return this way.

Resting area

Weed 'n Feed and Bike Repair Shop/Bike Seminars

Heading into town...

Roosters in downtown!!

The trail currently ends in the heart of the city of Oviedo. If you bike along the road, you'll meet up with the end of "Cady Way" Trail -- the previous one I biked the day before.

Oviedo Trailhead sign with rules and map.

A sign nearby and it looks like somebody doesn't want to stop at
the street anymore!!

This is a side road that leads to the trail from another part of Oviedo. Had to investigate it!

Pretty retention pond

Still on the 'side road' I'm being followed by a sun shadow...

Pretty wild flowers! Glad I took the detour! Heading back now...

Stopped at the rest area to take this picture. Nice area.

Black Hammock Trailhead at the end of the 'fork in the road'.
This is equestrian parking. No wonder I didn't see any horses on the trail.

Drinking water for horses. Leaving the trailhead.
The other 'fork' in the road leading back to the original trail

Pretty covered bridge

A turn in the trail ahead

This was distracting... it's a beautiful day to FLY!!!!

Pedestrian bridge ahead and uphill.

View from the bridge with and without the fencing

This is the newly paved portion of the trail. It was just a foot path the last time I biked through here. First trail I've seen with turn arrows! Quite in contrast to the General Fleet trail with NO turns. This was fun!!

Right turn ahead!

Ooooh! Sloooow doooown!

Careful....

Stop sign at Tuscawilla Road

Tuscawilla Road
Just after this street, there was a message written in chalk in a series, on the trail.
I took a movie of it and here's what it said, "HAPPY... B-DAY... abie... heart - richie" How saaaweeet!! She must have loved seeing that when she was doing her workout!

A park in the area

Not a real bicycle... Just for decoration.

Downhill now! Well... it's all relative...

Flying remote model airplanes!!! See? I should have been flying!!!

Back into the woods...

End of the trail.
Another gorgeous day on the trail!
